About Us:
The Cookeville Performing Arts Center is a 456 seat live performance theatre owned by the City of Cookeville and operated by the Department of Leisure Services. The facility was built with Model Cities grant money and opened in August 1979. CPAC houses the Margery Hargrove Auditorium, named in 1989 for the First Lady of Theatre in the area.

In addition, CPAC is the home of Cookeville Children's Theatre productions and a variety of special events including The Great TV Auction- the local PBS affiliate (WCTE TV) annual fund-raiser, Live Holiday Radio Theatre, the Kiwanis Club auction, Tennessee High School Speech and Drama League's regional one-act play competition, Tennessee Technological University Center Stage events, various concerts, forums, performances, pageants, seminars, and has served on several occasions as host of the annual Tennessee Theatre Association AACT/Fest.
