Waldport, Oregon is located at milepost 154 on US 101 on the beautiful Oregon Coast. People come to our area to, fish, crab, boat, observe sea life, and hike the pristine Oregon forests.

Waldport is nestled between Newport and Yachats. The Hatfield Marine Science Center and the Oregon Coast Aquarium are located just 15 miles north in Newport. Cape Perpetua, Devil’s Churn and the Sea Lion Caves are located just south of Yachats.

Crestview Heights School houses 425 students in Kindergarten through grade 8. This is our second year as a K-8 school and we are very proud of our developing program. When students leave our school they may go on to Waldport High – the home of the “Irish”.

The staff of Crestview Heights and I share a great deal of pride in our students and their achievement. We have established a safe and energizing learning environment. Our goal is to maximize every child’s potential. Our test scores are good and continue to get better and we are constantly striving for improvement. We have tremendous support from our parents and community.

In addition to the standard curriculum, including writing, math, reading, science, P.E., music and health, students who attend Crestview Heights are offered a variety of learning experiences throughout the year, including specialized science projects, Outdoor School, live animals, chess club, LEGO Robotics, Palm Handhelds, digital photography, computers, work experiences, and field trips to the Marine Science Center in Newport, OMSI in Portland, and the Oregon Hatchery Research Center.
