The objective of the Dana Point Woman's Club is to unite the influence and enterprise of the women of Dana Point and adjoining communities in the promotion of measures pertaining to the general welfare of those communities whether their measures be moral, educational or civic. The Dana Point Woman's Club is a group of community minded women and is open to new members of all ages.
History
The Dana Point Woman's Club was organized as El Camino Real Woman's Club in July 1951. In 1952 Community House, Inc. was incorporated and a building contract was in place to erect the present Community House. The Community House was dedicated in 1953, after two years of planning, volunteer work and fundraising for donations.
The Community House became the regular meeting place for the Woman's Club. In 1978, the El Camino Real Woman's Club changed their name to the Dana Point Woman's Club.
