Danville Congregational Church is a lively, caring, spiritual communion of people with open hearts and open minds. We strive to be inclusive community, where all are welcome, all are nourished, and all have a chance to serve. We recently celebrated our first 50 years as a progressive, family-centered, mission-minded church serving the San Ramon Valley.

Here at DCC, our members come from many religious traditions, from Baptist to Catholic, from Unitarian to Orthodox, or with no church background at all. We celebrate our differences, rejoice in our common faith, and encourage one another on the journey. We believe that God is still speaking to us in our everyday lives and that God has yet many truths to be revealed. Through study, sharing, serving, listening, and prayer, we seek to discover the sacred in our lives and in our world.

We are a body of 285 members who care deeply for each other and for our neighbors near and far. Our compassion becomes action as we strive to provide assistance and support to our members, to our community, and to those beyond. At DCC, members express their passion and compassion for our brothers and sisters through prayer, presence, financial support, gifts of food and supplies, and hands-on work and service.

Christian education and spiritual nurture are a top priority for us. Each week, children, youth, and adults engage in study of the scriptures, life issues, and current events.

We believe that every person is a child of God, and every person matters. No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
