The purpose of the David Krankowski Memorial Foundation Inc. is to honor the life of David Michael Krankowski, and to create a legacy to his name. To wit, it shall:

-promote Scouting in Calvert County, Maryland, by holding fundraising events true to David's character, and avail proceeds from said events to support Scouting's programs, initiatives, and members; ¨

-establish, fund, and disperse camperships/scholarships to local youth unable to meet the financial obligations of the Scouting program - with special emphasis on participation in camping and outdoor adventures; and, ¨

-ensure the financial stability of David's Boy Scout troop, Troop 430, in furtherance of these goals.
