We Serve! - Nearly 1.4 million Lions members at over 44,000 clubs in 190 countries and geographic areas answer the needs that challenge the communities of the world. With a primary emphasis on issues of sight, Lions tackle tough problems like blindness, drug abuse prevention and diabetes awareness. For 85 years, whenever there is a need at home or around the world, Lions members are there to help - We Serve!
The Dawsonville Club was formed in 1953, recently celebrating our 51st anniversary. Our club, the first service organization in Dawson County and the 200th Lions Club in Georgia, is part of District 18-D. The Dawsonville Lions Club is a 501(C)3 charitable organization, formally Dawsonville Lions Charities, Inc.
