D.C. Everest takes great pride in our students and their families, our certified and support staff, and our larger community comprised of business, industry and citizens who contribute to the district’s excellent educational system.
D.C. Everest Area School District serves the Villages of Hatley, Rothschild, Weston and part of Kronenwetter; the City of Schofield; the Towns of Easton, Ringle and Weston; parts of the Towns of Norrie, Reid, and Wausau; and parts of the City of Wausau. The District encompasses 162 square miles.
The district is organized as a common school district and is governed by a seven-member elected school board, which has the power and obligation to set budgets, certify tax levies, issue debt and perform other tasks necessary to operate the district.
The District is comprised of three secondary schools, six elementary schools, one charter school, a community partnership 4K program with local early childhood professionals at 10 area learning centers, and the DCE Greenheck Field House operated by Community Services.
