As we enter the new millennium our mission at Deerfield Run Elementary School is to ensure that all students acquire knowledge and develop the academic and social skills that will enable them to become productive members of society. We can accomplish this mission best through a strong partnership between the home, school, and community maintaining a safe and orderly environment, with high expectations, and effective instructional leadership.

Deerfield Run Elementary School's vision is to create a safe and comfortable environment where students and staff develop a sense of themselves. Staff and students will be challenged to become risk-takers so that their potential can be realized. Students will be engaged in activities which encourage them to explore, create, and communicate with support and encouragement of adults in the Deerfield Run Community.
