Derby is a community of learning involving student, family, and school, all working together to "improve both mind and soul". Our school is small, small enough for our teachers, students, and families to get to know each other well.

Derby spans eleven grade years and is organized into three divisions: Lower School for Prekindgarten through grade three, Middle School for grades four through six, and Upper School for grades seven through nine. A consistent educational philosophy and coordinated curriculum provide for a smooth transition from one division to the next, and from Derby to secondary school and beyond.
