We really try to enphasis the Community portion of Community Supported Agriculture and like to provide wholesome events and member networking opportunities.

Doniphan CSA practices sustainable agriculture. Since there are many different definitions of agricultural practices we define sustainable agriculture as; "A long term view toward improving soil texture, fertility and moisture holding capacity for plant growth."

Towards this goal we use raised beds for moisture retention, manure for long term fertilizer and texture and chemical fertilizers to make up shortcomings in quality and quantity of manure. We use pesticides as needed, not as preventive measures.
