The fundamental purpose of Duchesne County School District is to assure that all students achieve at high academic levels. This must be embedded into the day-to-day practice throughout the district.

About Us:

Duchesne County School District is a small, rural school district located in scenic Eastern Utah. Duchesne County, gateway to the Uintah Basin, is home to about 5050 students in thirteen schools located in six rural communities. We have seven elementary schools, three high schools, one junior high school, one K-12 school, and one special school. We are able to provide quality educational programs and enjoy good relationships with Utah State University Branch Campus and Uintah Basin Applied Technology College. We also utilize a distance learning network to provide curriculum to our more isolated schools. An ongoing project of the district is to provide modern, safe, and efficient facilities in a pleasant and positive learning environment.
