Eagle Creek Elementary has a long tradition of being a friendly, family oriented rural school. We all learn, grow, and have fun together. Our 14 acre campus is on the historic Barlow Road. There are 360 students enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Behind our school is a nature area where we have built trails, constructed bridges over our stream, and planted indigenous plant species. Tall fir trees are prominent features on the property. There are two four hundred year old oak trees that provide plenty of shade for us in warmer weather. Our grass playground has swings, monkey bars, slides, chinning bars, tire poles, a scaling wall, a sand box, baseball backstops, and a huge soccer field. A temporary 1/8 mile jogging track lies at one side of our large field. At recess, students enjoy four square, wall ball, tetherball, and basketball in our covered play area and asphalt playground.
Eagle Creek Elementary has an enrichment program which can benefit all students. Our school wide reading incentive program is called the Accelerated Reader Program. We also have a Math Olympiad Team, Math Fact Champions, and a vocabulary enrichment program called Word Masters.
