About Us
The Chamber is a non-profit organization, headquartered in Eagle, that primarily represents businesses in the western Eagle Valley – including Edwards, Wolcott, Eagle, Gypsum and Dotsero – although there are many more business members outside the Chamber’s jurisdiction. There are now over 300 members in this Chamber of Commerce, with an ever-increasing number of businesses joining the organization every year. The Chamber is pro-active in the communities of Eagle and Gypsum, helping to sponsor events like Eagle’s Flight Days and Gypsum Daze every summer.
The Chamber also sponsors a variety of its own events, including the popular Screaming Eagle Golf Tournament and the Citizen of the Year Extravaganza – which honors a western Eagle County resident for humanitarian efforts.
The always exciting Eagle County Fair and Rodeo rounds out the summer events schedule in the Eagle Valley. Held over the final weekend in July and the first week in August, this event has been a mainstay of the county for decades. Popular 4-H competitions in livestock, arts and crafts, culinary and other categories mark the first weekend of activity during the annual fair. The weekend is usually capped by the Bull Riders Only Competition. The final weekend, from Thursday through Sunday, features professional rodeo at its finest – from buckin’ horses to snortin’ bulls and the comedy of rodeo clowns.
