E Enable each child to become more than he or she ever hoped to be

E.C. Mason opened her doors to students in April of 1980. About 800 PreK-5th grade students were the first to attend. About moving from the old building to the new, James Orr, the first principal of E.C. Mason had this to say. "It was like a pilgrimage to the new world. The students carried their desks from the elementary , across the bridge to the new school.--except for the 1st graders.We were going to the promised land. We went single file by grade levels, singing as we went."
