Mission Statement

El Monte Convalescent is a 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility conveniently located in the beautiful San Gabriel Valley. The facility is accessible to the I-10, I-605 and  I-210 freeways. We are a 93-bed facility dedicated to providing high-quality health care. Our facility is family-owned and celebrated our 40th year of operation in October, 2004.

Our philosophy and approach is to deliver care to our residents in a respectful, dignified manner while maintaining a home-like environment. Quality of life and maintaining peace of mind are values we strive to deliver to our residents and their families. Residents are assessed on an individual basis by our highly-trained professional nursing staff. Additionally, Social Services and our Activity departments are also major contributors in the total care of our residents. The Dietary department is excellent in providing a variety of meal plans as well as therapeutic diets.

We maintain an open door policy and welcome family participation in achieving our goal to provide the highest quality, compassionate health care in the communities we serve.

We provide services to residents without regard to religion, sexual orientation or national origin. Our multi-lingual staff contains personnel fluent in Spanish, Chinese and Tagalog.
