The Elizabethtown Lions Club located just 45 miles south of Louisville, KY. We were chartered on September 25, 1941. Currently we have 67 active members and are looking for a few more able bodies. Our Club funds projects for the betterment of our community, such as:
EYESIGHT CONSERVATION
Eye Exams and Glasses, along with Eye Screenings, and Eyeglass Collection Boxes
Campaign Sight First II, Kid Sight, Lions Camp for the Blind, and High Tech Equipment
Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation and Lions Patrons Fund for Eye Surgeries
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Student of the Month for EHS, CHHS, & JHHS; Project Graduation for EHS, CHHS & JHHS; along with Academic Scholarships for ECTC, EHS, CHHS, and JHHS students
Big Brother/Big Sisters, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Hardin County 4-H
Lions Camp Crescendo, and KY Sheriff's Ranch
