The Empowering Teens & Women Program is facilitated by the Wyoming Children's Society. The Wyoming Children's Society is a fully licensed, statewide, private and no-profit agency that has served Wyoming women, children and families since 1911.
The Empowering Teens & Women Program consists of individual, wraparound and group support that consists of a 15-week life-skills group. Participants need to have faced an unplanned pregnancy and meet the income guidelines.
Our mission is to empower teens and women to become self-supportive through education, advocacy and enhanced life skills.
The overall objectives are to increase financial independence, reduce the risk of future unintended pregnancies and to strengthen families.
