About Us:
The Engadine Historical Society Museum reflects life in the community back to 1894. Exhibits focus on lumbering and agricultural eras, and include furnishings, displays of local area barns, a one-room schoolhouse replica, displays of military artifacts, and pictures and artifacts from the Cooperidge Mill and old Mackinac County Bank. There is also a restored 1895 log house on property.
The society’s collections include a wooden washer, early washing machines, family records, and original Register of Deeds books to 1900s.
