Facing West Farm
Facing West Farm is a small sustainable family farm located in Henry County, producing 2 acres of mixed vegetables and fruits. We tend to a small flock of free range hens and a herd of 20 Black Angus cattle. We offer a 22 week vegetable CSA program with an optional egg share, we also sell our every week at the Bardstown Rd. farmers market in Louisville. We are dedicated to growing healthy food through a mutually beneficial relationship with this beautiful land.

A 22 week vegetable CSA program delivered to a location in the Highlands neighborhood on Tuesday evenings. There will be a three week extension option as well as a egg share option. Each week members can expect 6-10 different vegetables and herbs in the share. Example shares from last year: Week 4: Carrots, Beets, Salad Mix, Cilantro, Head Lettuce, Swiss Chard, New Potatoes Week 16: Tomatoes, Eggplant, Peppers, Potatoes, Basil, Watermelon Week 20: Kale, Radishes, Broccoli, Salad Mix, Sweet Potatoes, Winter Squash, Dill, Cabbage We grow our vegetables, flowers, herbs and fruits sustainably, with no synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers and deliver them to you fresh from the fields. We look forward to working with our members to build a positive relationship with opportunities for community events such as harvest and family farm days. Members are welcome to come visit or work at the farm any time! A limited number of work shares are also available, in which five hours of weekly work gives you a share, email or call us to talk about the possibility.
