Vision:

Fire Mountain Arts Council purchased and renovated the Roxy Theater in Morton, the "community's theater". The new theater will be available to community organizations when not in use for movies and live performances.

Our mission is to enrich our community life through the arts: present theater, movies, music and other arts events; foster arts education for our youth; create an environment that nurtures local talent; feature our regional character; provide venues for the arts and stimulate economic growth.

About Us:

In January of 2003 Fire Mountain Arts Council incorporated as a non-profit, 501(c)(3), corporation for the purpose of enriching our community life through the arts.

Since our incorporation we have attained our first goal which was the purchase of the "Roxy Theater" in downtown Morton, Washington. Currently we are in the process of fund raising and renovating this historic building."Randle Woods" owned by Steve and Judy Roberts has been awarded the contract to accomplish phase I of the renovation. We expect to have this phase completed by June of 2006.
