At FBJB, we believe that God's glory is our ultimate goal! Everything about our lives is to bring honor to Him and to reflect who He is to others. That is why we exist. We find our purpose for living in His purposes for us. The church was God's idea and was designed to accomplish His plan for mankind. If we are to honor God and be faithful to His Word, we must be committed to the following SIX PURPOSES . These six purposes define who we are as a church and how we invest our time, talents, and resources. We believe that balance in these six areas is the key to a healthy church. If we remain healthy, we will honor and glorify God.

We believe the purpose for the existence of God's church is to love, honor, glorify, exalt, and praise God! We call this worship . For us, worship is not an event, but a lifestyle! Worship is bringing pleasure to God with our lives. As part of our lifestyle of worship, we gather together regularly to honor God through praise and music. These times of worship are always Christ-centered and Spirit-led. Our music is passionate and heartfelt, culturally relevant, and stylistically contemporary.

When Jesus completed His mission of redemption on this earth and ascended into Heaven, he left His followers a mandate for all time. His command for us was to share the Good News of the gift of salvation with all people everywhere. This call to evangelism is more than just a responsibility to us. It is a privilege! We are passionate about sharing with others what Jesus has done in us. We share this life and eternity changing message with humility and without condemnation.

We believe that God is honored by loving human relationships. His purpose as a church is that we be a Christ-centered family of believers. Our purpose is to encourage the ongoing development of genuine and intimate relationships built on love, trust, and faithfulness that yield authentic fellowship . At FBJB, you will find a place where you can connect with people who will love you, encourage you, and help you to become all God made you to be.

The church is also place for you to learn and grow as a follower of Jesus Christ. We believe that discipleship is absolutely essential as we learn to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who are making a difference in our world. Simply put, we want to become like Jesus - in our thoughts, feelings, and actions. At FBJB, you will find the right environment for personal growth as you learn more and more about God and how to honor Him with your life. Because we believe life change happens best in smaller groups, we offer Youth and Adult Life Groups that are conducive to growth and development.

God has commanded and equipped us to love our neighbors. This love has to go far beyond words and thoughts. It must be demonstrated in genuine service and ministry . People will know and understand God's love for them as we reach out in Jesus name to heal their hurts and meet their needs. Our goal as a church is for every member to find a ministry that they are uniquely shaped for that will enable them to be living expressions of God's love for people.

Without prayer we cannot accomplish anything of eternal value. God desires ongoing fellowship and communication with those He loves. We believe that God desires our prayers and responds enthusiastically and lovingly to them. Our philosophy is simple: When we work, we work, but when we pray, God works! Spirit-led prayers of faith are the power behind an effective church.
