Reaching People, Touching Lives.

This is our purpose at FBC in Bridgeport.
We want to reach people for Jesus and to touch lives through ministry and service. It is our desire that everyone have a meaningful, saving relationship with God in Christ through the Holy Spirit and then to serve God by serving others.

We hold to:

A Holy Spirit inspired and error free Bible as God’s revelation of Himself to man

Holy God as creator

The incarnation and resurrection of Jesus Christ

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit in each believer

The separation of every person from God as a result of personal sin

Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ

The local church as Christ’s means on earth for evangelism and corporate worship

The second coming of Christ

The autonomy of the local church

The ability of every person to come to Christ for salvation

The responsibility of every member to practice biblical stewardship.
