Vision Statement of First Baptist Church of Westland

1. To reach across every cultural, racial, denominational, social and economic barrier for the sake of:

a. Salvation of the lost;
b. Healing of the broken hearted;
c. Deliverance of those held captive by breaking down strongholds of addictions; and
d. To comfort those who mourn;

2. To transform people from a form of religion to relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, enabling them to live holy;

3. To be a bright light in the community dispelling darkness, promoting holiness and sanctification;

4. To train, teach and mature lambs into sheep through the understanding of the Bible, which is the Word of God; and

5. To train the children in the way of the Lord.
