Come and join  us on Sunday mornings, as we celebrate the Good News, and learn more fully what it is to be a Christian.  

In  Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus teaches that the first and greatest commandment is that "You will Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and all your mind.  And the second is that you should love your neighbor as yourself."  These great commandments emphasize the importance of Love!  We must love each other as ourselves, but if we cannot first love ourselves, we surely cannot love others.  

Come let us help you learn to love yourself...we are all special in the eyes of the Lord.

First Church of Winsted is committed to helping each other and our surrounding communities. We strive to help our neighbors in need, locally with donations to the Winsted Greater Area Food Bank, and the Open Door Soup Kitchen, and through our mission offerings, we can even help on a more global level.
