In the fall of 2004, members of our congregation met for a Re-Visioning Retreat and subsequently established a Re-Visioning Task Force. We are pleased to share the output of this process!

Our Vision
First Presbyterian Church is called to be an agent of transformation and reconciliation, advancing the Kingdom of God in our community, our nation and our world.
Through God's Power and Grace, we will be forgiven, restored freed, cared for, healed, transformed and equipped for evangelizing and serving in the name of Jesus Christ.
By God's Purpose, partnerships will be nurtured, communities will experience new life, justice will prevail, social and political structures will be reformed, resources will be channeled to those in need, fear will be conquered by peace, and those who are oppressed will find hope.
For God's Pleasure, the Holy Spirit will empower our worship, prayer, discipleship and service, drawing many into our midst and satisfying needs for wholeness, as we lift up the name of Jesus.
All this will be accomplished by God's design, through God's people and for God's glory, in the name of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
