There is a river flowing from the throne of God with power to save, deliver, and heal. It is a river where everything lives. A river of "more" that never runs dry. We believe that river runs through the very heart of Flowing River Fellowship where we desire to be "An Oasis for the Thirsty."

Flowing River Fellowship (FRF) is devoted to becoming a church where there is persistent prayer, persistent listening to God's direction, persistent doing, relevant Bible teaching, heart felt worship, honest friendships and compassionate care for those in need. We want to be a church that will influence and encourage the entire community and the world with the love of Jesus Christ. We want to be “an oasis for the thirsty.”

What we teach, preach and practice here at Flowing River Fellowship is founded on God’s Word—The Bible. His inspired Word is our direction for a Spirit-filled life. We must know God’s Word in order to know God’s will. We worship God, and follow His direction for our church and our lives.

Purpose

To supply the thirsty with the Living Water and to advance the flow of God’s Kingdom.

Belief

We believe the Bible is the inspired, unfailing and authentic written Word of God.

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the unity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He was born of a virgin, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substituted and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His rising to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory.

We believe in the blessed hope…the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to rapture(carry away) His Church and to judge the world.

We believe the only way of being cleansed from sin in your life is through repentance and faith in the life giving blood of Jesus.

We believe that the price Jesus Christ paid on the cross provides-physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe all believers are entitled to seek the promise of the Father, the baptism with the Holy Spirit. With the baptism of the Holy Spirit comes power for life and service, an overflowing fullness of the Spirit, a deepened reverence for God the Father, dedication to His work, and a more active love for the things of God—His Word, His Son, and the people of the world.

We believe all the gifts of the Spirit are in operation today.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved to everlasting life with the Father and the lost to everlasting torment with devil.

We believe salvation comes through the person and work of Jesus Christ. His death on the cross provided the way for mankind to have a personal relationship with God the Father. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life…The Only Way To Heaven.

We believe the ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the Word of God. All who turn from their sin and believe on Jesus Christ as their Savior are to be baptized. In doing this they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and then raised with Him to walk in a new life.

We believe in Holy Communion. The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the bread and juice of the vine. Communion is a memorial of His suffering and death and a prophecy of His second coming. It is a meaningful and serious time of all believers to take part in “till He comes again.”
