About Fool For Art
It started in 2006 with a simple question: how do we spread the word about the resources available to the community through John Tyler Community College?
The answer? Fool for Art, a community festival designed to give faculty and staff members at the College an opportunity to share their talents and the College’s offerings with the community through free educational sessions, hands-on activities and more one Saturday in April.
From the start, Fool for Art was a success. The first year, over 3,000 people came to the Midlothian Campus and learned about their community’s College. In recent years, the crowd has topped 6,000 people.
