The mission of Forest Hill Elementary School is to build a firm educational foundation in a positive and secure environment created by staff, parents and community so that students will acquire academic and life skills needed to succeed as productive members of a diverse society.
History
Forest Hill Elementary School was constructed in 1914. Additions were built in 1926,1964 and 1993. Originally part of Portage Township Schools and annexed by the Akron School District in 1916, the school took its name from the woods in which it is located.
