Treasure Coast Art Association is a 501c3.  It was established in 1955 and incorporated 1966 as the Fort Pierce Art Club, Inc. with its first three-year president, A. E. Backus.

Treasure Coast Art Association, Inc. this year requested a name change back to its original name.  The name request is complete in Florida.  The organization is awaiting correspondence from the IRS confirming the approval of the request on the Federal level.  This will be the last event under the name of the Treasure Coast Art Association, Inc.

The renewed Fort Pierce Art Club’s mission will be support, educate and create entrepreneur artists of all mediums and eliminate the “starving artist” thought process with knowledge of good business practices.  We will be offering workshops and classes in conjunction with the City of Fort Pierce & St. Lucie County.
