The purpose of the congregation of the Franklin Lakes United Methodist Church is to proclaim the Good News through our worship of the Lord and through teaching our children God’s word; to demonstrate God’s love in our Christian fellowship and in our outreach to others, and to provide the opportunity within our church family for each person to strengthen his or her spiritual life in preparation for truly abundant living.

We at United Methodist church of Franklin Lakes are delighted to tell you that since 1855, we have maintained a strong and vibrant ministry for Jesus Christ in the Franklin Lakes area. We have a very warm and caring congregation that seeks to treat everyone like family - which we all are as followers of Jesus!

Our church has many things to offer you and/or your family. We have a very active Adult Fellowship, a wonderful Church School, several excellent choirs for children, youth, and adults, a terrific youth ministry program, mission opportunities in Paterson, and both a Cub Scout Pack and a Boy Scout Troop!

Beyond these we offer many more opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth and Christian ministry. We invite you to join us in our walk with Christ!
