Friendship Baptist Church was organized on August 11, 1880. Through the years God has blessed the church with much growth and today He still continues to bless. The nature of the world in which we live can make life difficult and we believe that it is the purpose of the church to bring help and comfort to the people of our community by striving to meet both spiritual and physical needs as God enables us to do so. It is our desire to share the love of God with others by demonstrating the care and compassion for people that Jesus has demonstrated for us. It is our mission to bring people to Jesus Christ, instruct them in the Word of God so that they may grow into spiritual maturity, and help them discover their mission and ministry in the church and in the world.
