Mission
We of the Gaylordsville United Methodist Church, believing: that God's love and grace have been made known to us in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ; that God has always sought and is continuing to seek reconciliation with and for all God's people; and believing that God has called each of us to share the Good News in a unique and personal way; commit ourselves to be the visible presence of Christ in our homes, our church, our local community, and the world. Towards this end we will:
-Worship God through our praise, prayer, music, and fellowship in a spirit of gratitude and thanksgiving.
-Nurture the loving, caring, and friendly atmosphere that exists in our church family.
-Care for the physical and emotional needs of our neighbors.
-Encourage the spiritual growth of all ages of our church family.
-Reach out beyond our walls to those who are seeking a new or renewed relationship with God.
-Be an advocate for Peace and Justice in the world, and for harmony among all people.
We humbly acknowledge that in all that we seek to do we are dependent on God's help, for we are engaged in God's ministry not our own.
