About Us:

Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois serves over 11,300 girls and nearly 4,500 adult volunteers in 40 ½ mostly rural counties in southern Illinois. GSSI has a yearly operating budget of approximately $3.7 million. One out of every seven girls age 5-17 in our jurisdiction is a Girl Scout. Almost 300 programs are offered by Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois to over 17,000 participants annually as part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience where girls Discover, Connect and Take Action.
