Our CSA will offer a Chicken/Egg share in the 2010 growing season. Details are still being worked on, but basically one share would include -Four Chickens a month -Pickup will be biweekly, ie. Two birds every two weeks -Pickup on process day will yield fresh birds, the next pickup that month will have frozen birds -Along with the chicken we will include Two dozen eggs for that share as well. -Pricing will follow, we want it to be fair to everyone. Remember the CSA Share philosophy though, - Miss your pickup day, miss your meal - All shares are to be paid for in advance - Loss due to predators, weather, theft, etc. Should be felt by all shareholders, not just one Farmer. We are a CERTIFIED ORGANIC FARM raising chicken, eggs, turkey and pork. We also carry organic beef from McEnroe Farm. Our meats do not contain anything nature did not intend. NO ANTIBIOTICS, NO HORMONES, NO CHEMICALS OF ANY KIND.

We believe in farming the old-fashioned way. We use draft horses to work the land and all of our animals are free-range. We also feed certified organic grains from Lightning Tree Farm which is just down the road in Millbrook. When our customers purchase our meats or eggs, they are investing in a healthier lifestyle and are supporting their local farmer!
