Most importantly, however, the Chamber is PEOPLE working together for economic development and community enrichment. The power of the Chamber is harnessed through the collective action of the membership (retailers, service businesses, wholesalers, manufacturers, financial experts, professionals, doctors, corporate executives, and educators) who works through a committee structure to achieve established goals.
Acting on behalf of the business community, the Chamber educates, advocates and communicates through business shows, publications, general meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops, legislative meetings, networking programs, partnerships, etc. The Chamber of Commerce provides a network for community leaders to hear and listen to input from the business perspective while working together for community development. By offering opportunities for networking, education, professional growth and increased visibility, the Chamber serves its members while improving the quality of life in our area.
