Green Street United Methodist Church is a vital congregation in Augusta, Maine. 

The church has a congregation of about 150 active members, who give graciously of their time and resources in support of God's work throughout the neighborhood and surrounding communities. We're a 'regional church in the heart of a city.'

Green Street offers a comprehensive menu of worship, bible study and fellowship  opportunities, we are also enthusiastic supporters of Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop, Maine, holy ground where youth and adults encounter God in community.

United Methodist's mantra "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors" is alive in the life of the congregation through its people, ministries and activities.  Everyone is welcome! Our spiritual journey together is over a century old and as recent as the next visitor to walk through the door.
