Mission:
Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
About Us:
Habitat for Humanity Georgetown County, South Carolina is the non-profit, ecumenical, Christian-based organization that gives low-income working families a chance to contribute to society, because it builds decent homes in decent communities which encourages the development of productive citizens. Habitat homeowners purchase their homes with no-interest mortgages and sweat equity. Habitat's mission is accomplished through generous donations of time, money and building materials from many local companies, civic and government leaders, and individuals who want to help their fellow citizens while building a stronger community.
