Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian housing ministry, which partners with people to build simple, decent houses. The Anderson Habitat for Humanity ReStore opened its doors in 2004 to provide a place for building materials and household items to be donated and reused. 100% of the money made in the store goes directly to building homes. It is fun to search through the donated treasures. The prices are dirt cheap, and the wide variety of items will surely meet the wishes of every family member. The kids can find a handful of books for only a few dollars while Dad can get a new grill or Lazyboy and Mom can find the perfect set of dishes. Knowing that all the money you spend goes to building a family a house really makes your day. Habitat of Anderson builds between 6-8 houses a year.
