Harmony Moon is a specialty gift shop dedicated to helping people live gentler lives. We offer gifts and decorative accessories for the home and garden, including incense, statuary, books, and music that will lift your spirit and inspire you towards serenity.  Harmony Moon was founded in 1996 in Alexandria, VA (and known as Mindful Hands then), and re-located to Staunton, VA in 2013. 

We are a "for benefit" organization - we strongly believe in the principles of fair trade.  We work with artisan groups around the world, particularly the Tibetan exile community and women's groups in India and Nepal, to help the craftspeople earn a livelihood and to preserve their culture.  We also believe in "paying it forward."  A portion of every sale goes to support a number of international and local charities.

We are an eco-conscious organization.  Many of our products are made from recycled and/or sustainably harvested materials.  Additionally, we offer a number of resources for learning about caring for the earth and leading a more earth-friendly lifestyle. We reduce, re-use, and recycle and encourage our patrons and friends to do the same.
