Havelock, N. C., a city with a population of approximately 25,000, is situated outside the Main Gate of the United States Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Due to the transient nature of military personnel, Havelock encounters many challenges not seen in most non-military communities.

Our Club supports many school projects including Junior Civitan and the Grandbuddies Reading Program. We also support the Special Olympics program in Havelock. In addition, we generously support the N. C. Boys and Girls Home, our local Child Development Center, Outreach, and the Civitan International Research Center. We support these projects and programs through our many fund raising events held throughout the year. 

We continue to strive to be a better Club, promote citizenship, and provide an avenue for our members to focus their time and talents for the betterment of our youth and our community.
