Philosophy Statement--Hazel Harvey Staff
As professionals, we believe that public education is a partnership among the school, the parents and their children, and the community with each partner owning responsibilities within their roles. Each child has the right to be educated in dignity, at their level, and in their own learning style. All children have the right to an education in a non-threatening and non-disruptive environment which includes learning approaches which address the whole child; cognitive, academic, social, physical, psychological, and creative. All individuals within the school environment shall be respectful of each other in their relationships, and willing to listen to and try the ideas of others.
