The Hicksville Boys & Girls Club is a unique organization. Our goal is to help provide every child with the tools needed for a successful and bright future. Since 1972, the vision of the Club has grown and changed with the needs of our children. In November of 1999, the Club, formerly known as the “Hicksville Youth Council” became a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Every day the Club strives to improve each child's life by implementing programs that help promote self-esteem, positive values and morals, and dignity. Adolescents are assisted in making healthy choices for themselves and are encouraged to use their time, energy and talents in a positive manner. Our youth come to the Club to receive tutoring, computer training, homework help, and mentoring. We also provide a wide variety of recreational programs that are designed to develop skills, as well as fill their idle time. Club members gain confidence by developing a sense of usefulness and belonging. If you are looking for an exciting place for children to learn and grow or would like to volunteer, our Club has something for you.
