Highland Junior High School is a community of dedicated educators, parents and students collaborating to create an accepting and respectful atmosphere, where all can experience an encompassing curriculum that strives for excellence, promotes leadership, stimulates community involvement and encourages life-long learning.

About Highland Junior High . . . Welcome to the Highland Hurricane community of families. Highland Junior High shares a history of academic excellence with its sister Gilbert Public Schools that is second to no other in Arizona. We need your continued support and invite you to be involved on campus. Please consider joining our Parent Teacher Resource Organization (PTRO). The PTRO coordinates all of our parental volunteer help. A summer newsletter will be mailed to your homes in July with back-to-school information. We expect that the strong academic traditions at Highland Junior High will be strengthened as our 2006/2007 Hurricanes bring their talents to bear this year
