The members of the Highland Chamber of Commerce are business and professional men and women. The organization is a volunteer, non-profit association whose purpose is to strengthen the business environment in Highland.
The officers and twenty-one members of the Board of Directors are all volunteers. They govern the Chamber and decide what activities and projects will best serve the businesses and the community. The 2006 President of the Highland Chamber of Commerce is Sheila Courtright of First Midwest Bank. Membership board meetings are held at noon on the second Tuesday of each month at various restaurant locations of Chamber businesses.
The Chamber office, at 8536 Kennedy Avenue, is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
