Celebrate the joys of the holiday season this year at Springfield's spectacular Holiday in the City.

Thousands of people from all over the region will flock to Springfield's spectacular 15th Holiday in the City Saturday, November 28, 2015 to kickoff their seasonal celebration.

Taking place in the heart of downtown Springfield, more than 15,000 people have made Holiday in the City a family tradition, enjoying activities on City Hall plaza, inside the Heritage Center and along Fountain Avenue

The multifaceted event includes Santa's arrival in grand style to visit with children in his wonder-filled Santa Land. The Grand Illumination of the downtown lights and lighting of the community Christmas tree  is capped off with a dazzling fireworks display that will set your holiday spirits soaring.
