Holly Creek First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church was organized June 16, 1889
in a log house on the banks of Holly Creek in Northwest Howard County, Dierks,
Arkansas. At some later date, Holly Creek Church moved into a building which is
now the old Dierks High School. That building was sold to the school in the late
1940's and later burned. Holly Creek was moved into the rock building on Highway
70 while Grady Higgs was pastor. Current active membership is over 300, with an
average of just under 200 in Sunday School.
