Holy Ghost Catholic Church, being rooted in our rich African-American Creole Culture and nurtured by the traditions of the Catholic faith, makes the Eucharist and a sacramental spirituality, inspired by the Word of God, the center of life in our faith community. Having been recognized as the largest Black Catholic Congregation in the country, and further being considered a Mother Church, we commit our lives to personal conversion to God our Father through the Son and the Holy Spirit and are committed to teach and share the Good News of Christ to others.
