Mission

To provide engaging, relevant, and rigorous instruction and programs that support all students to be college, career, and community ready. Honoka'a High & Intermediate School (HHIS) offers a wide range of programs including AP classes in English Literature, English Language and Composition, United States History, Calculus, and Environmental Science. Honors classes are available to underclassmen in core subjects to help prepare them for the AP courses. We also have a comprehensive Career and Technical Education Department (CTE) with pathways in: Natural Resources, Arts and Communication, Industrial Engineering and Technology, Public and Human Services, and Business.  AVID courses for students in grade 9 through 11 and Advanced Guidance classes for seniors are also available.
