About
Hope Lutheran Church is a warm, vibrant, growing congregation!
Established in 1996 as a mission congregation in Wake Forest, Hope continues to welcome all who are seeking to make a connection with the Lord and his people. We have a unique, dynamic ministry style, and a positive and joyful spirit fills our church.
Hope Lutheran is a diverse congregation of over 676 families. Many come from the surrounding Wake Forest community, but many travel from neighboring communities, as well. The congregation members have widely-diverse church backgrounds and come from many different parts of the country, including many folks who are new to the Christian faith.
Our church's strong focus on children and youth ministries attracts many young families, but we also have a wide range of ministry opportunities for adults of all ages. Hope is an outward-focused congregation, with several exciting outreach and mission programs that impact our community with Christ's love.
Worship services at Hope Lutheran Church are always worshipper-friendly. Every week, we celebrate the grace of God in our lives, and rejoice at the wonderful ways he is at work in our midst. Every service features Bible-based readings and sermons, along with Communion. Saturday evening services are casual, with many people in shorts and jeans, while Sunday morning services are a bit dressier, with most folks wearing business casual to suits and dresses. However, please feel free to come as you are. We are a congregation of all styles, and all are truly welcome!
If you've not visited Hope, we would love to meet you. Please introduce yourself to one of the pastors, or stop by the Welcome Desk for the monthly newsletter, maps, a large-print bulletin, or a “wiggle tamer” bag for your little ones to enjoy during the service.
