History:
Harvey and Donna Hubert started Hubert’s Noble Ridge Tree farm in 1960 and started developing the land into the tree farm that is here today. Their small farm grew to 128 acres of which over 70 acres is currently planted with Christmas Trees. For over 50 years, the Hubert’s helped local families create magical, memorable family traditions and made many, many friends. In 2010 when the Hubert’s retired, they sold the business to local firefighter Randy Billick, who has owned Santa’s Christmas Tree Farm in East Bremerton since 1984. Randy and his wife Karen changed the business name slightly to Hubert’s Christmas Tree Farm and consolidated their two businesses so they could bring their customers the widest range and best quality Christmas Trees available. The business has also been expanded to offer retail Christmas trees at various locations around Kitsap County and wholesale trees as well.
Three generations and about 10 family members work at our U-Cut to provide your family the best holiday experience and selection of quality trees possible. We work all year long starting in January with the clearing of the fields and planting around 4000 new seedlings each spring. Trimming, pruning and fertilizing go on all summer and then tagging and getting the farm ready to open occurs in October and November. Each year at the Hubert Farm we have Free Antique Tractor and Hay Wagon Rides to tour the farm on, and we offer Flocking of Christmas Trees on site. Santa makes visits to the farm on the weekends up at the Noble House where you can enjoy a free cup of hot apple cider while enjoying the wood stove and getting warm.
